If you share a bed with someone then you probably know that their sleeping habits and movements can cause you to have a restless night and vice versa.
Is this a familiar situation at night? |
There are many different ways a sleeping partner can disturb you, one of which is snoring that can stop you from getting to sleep or even wakes you up in the middle of the night. The well know method of trying to roll your partner onto their side may help but could also result in you getting shouted at if you wake your noisy sleeping companion. If they only snore whilst lying on their back, then having a cheap memory foam mattress could help them stay laying on their side or front since the foam moulds to the pressure of the body. This may help stop the snoring and mean you both have a good night sleep.
Temperature is another issue at night for a sleeping couple. One may like the quilt pulled right up under the chin whilst the other could be sweating and want to throw the quilt off altogether. There is a couple of ways to combat this, including a memory foam mattress since they help with temperature control for the different people lying on it or there are quilts available which are half and half so that each person can have a different thickness.
Since some people are cuddly sleepers and others like space in their beds, having the right size bed can also help couples sleep well. There are a wide range of sizes available from small singles through to super king size so you will be able to find a bed and mattress that’s right for how you like to sleep.
