More Sounds for Helping You to Sleep

Last week I posted about how certain songs can help people fall asleep and I thought I’d follow up with a different style of soothing sounds that people use to help them drift off to dreamland when they are all cosy in bed.

Some people find that if music has words then they find themselves singing along and so this won’t be relaxing you for sleep. If you still want some kind of noise though you could use soothing sounds and the Sound Sleeping website is a great example of “sounds to promote sleep and relaxation”.

The site lets you select a range of sounds such as flute music, birds, waves and wind chimes and choose the volume levels of up to five playing at the same time to create your ultimate relaxation sounds. Have a look at the site yourself and give it a go, it might help you sleep more easily just like a memory foam mattress could.
